The Escapist

Sidekick Wave My phavorite of Phil’s albums. So beautiful, a little Cocteau Twins, a little Rapoon, a little sub and a whole lot of wonderful. Used to play “Full Moon” and “Stay Clean” in my yoga classes a bunch. “Why can’t I stay clean?” is a chilling statement in light of the last week. I’m so sad that we’ve lost such a creative genius. We miss you Phil!
Denis J O Sullivan

Denis J O Sullivan This will always be my favorite perhaps because it was the first one of Phil's I'd ever heard, back in Vancouver 20 years ago when Barb, Phil's sister gave it to me. "The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and you have burned so very very brightly Phil"
Portis

Portis Phil mixing it up here, with some fine results. Some tracks have some guitar and drums, used to great effect. They are usually mixed with a little reverb. Complimentary vocals are found in some tracks as well. Throw is a stomping techno Kent The Fly and the journey beatyful Full Moon to complete this sweeping trophy. Favorite track: Full Moon.
Andrew Waterloo

Andrew Waterloo This album drifts between dark and spacy motorik techno, and groovy pre-millienial library music. This has long been a favourite album for long overnight trips, and the kind of thing I put on when I just want to lay on the living room floor with lights turned off. Favorite track: Getting Old.
